Introducing The Clay Club

Capture those precious little hands and feet forever in clay! In this heartwarming pottery workshop, you'll create your very own personalised ceramic keepsake plaque, featuring a handprint or footprint of your little one.

Whether you're celebrating a new arrival, creating a special memory of your baby's first months, or making a thoughtful gift for someone special, this workshop is all about capturing those tiny details that you'll want to treasure forever.

Don't worry if you've never worked with clay before – this class is designed for all skill levels. We'll guide you through the process and show you how to create a beautiful, personalised plaque using simple hand-building techniques.

During the workshop, our instructor will help you roll and shape your clay into a lovely plaque before carefully pressing your baby's little hand or foot into the surface to create a lasting impression. You can choose to create a handprint, footprint or even both.

Make it truly personal!

Once you've created your impression, it's time to add all those special little details. Use our letter stamps to personalise your plaque with your baby's name, date of birth, birth details or a sweet little message. You can also add decorative touches such as hearts, stars, flowers and other lovely details to make your keepsake completely unique.

What makes this class extra special: you have a full TWO HOURS with us!

You'll spend 1 hour making your ceramic plaque, carefully shaping your clay, creating your little hand or footprint impression and adding your personalised lettering and decorative details.

Then you'll spend 1 hour painting your creation using our colourful underglazes. Choose your favourite colours, add beautiful little patterns, paint the lettering and bring your special keepsake to life!

By the end of the workshop, you'll have created and painted your very own personalised baby handprint or footprint plaque – a beautiful reminder of just how tiny they once were.

Your creation will then be clear glazed and fired by us, ready for you to collect approximately 4 weeks later. A precious little keepsake to display in your home and treasure for years to come. 🤍

Little ones welcome: Babies are very welcome at this workshop! We understand that working with little hands and feet can sometimes be a little unpredictable, so we'll do our best to help you get that perfect impression. Please bear in mind that babies may need a little patience (and perhaps a cuddle or two!) along the way.

Lead times: Ceramic pieces take approximately 4 weeks to fire. After the session they just need to be clear glazed and fired, which speeds up our process! Please note these are estimates and often take longer. We cannot speed this up or provide daily updates.

Get ready to create your very own tubby little best friend! In this extra-special pottery workshop, you'll dive into the wonderful world of clay and learn how to sculpt your very own chubby, characterful dog. Whether you're making a miniature version of your beloved family pet, recreating a favourite four-legged friend, or simply dreaming up your perfect pooch, this workshop is all about bringing your own little doggy to life!

Don't worry if you've never worked with clay before – this class is designed for all skill levels. We'll guide you through each step, sharing hand-building techniques and helping you turn a simple ball of clay into an adorable, one-of-a-kind ceramic companion.

During the workshop, our instructor will show you how to shape a lovely round, tubby body before transforming it into your chosen dog. Think chunky little paws, floppy or pointy ears, adorable snouts, curly tails and all those quirky details that make every dog unique!

The best bit? You get to make YOUR dog!

You can use photos of your own pet for inspiration and personalise your creation with their recognisable features, colours and markings. From sausage dogs to spaniels, fluffy cockapoos to cheeky terriers and everything in between – no two tubby dogs will ever be the same!

What makes this class extra special: you have a full THREE HOURS with us!

You'll spend 2 hours hand-building your tubby dog, carefully shaping their body, adding their ears, legs, snout and tail, and sculpting all the little details that give them their personality.

Then you'll spend 1 hour painting your creation using our colourful underglazes. Add your dog's unique coat colour, little patches, spots, facial markings and all those special details that make them unmistakably yours.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have created and painted your very own tubby ceramic dog – a little clay keepsake inspired by a very special furry friend.

Your creation will then be clear glazed and fired by us, ready for you to collect approximately 4 weeks later. The perfect little keepsake, gift or forever reminder of your favourite four-legged companion! 🐶

Discover working with clay as you learn how to create your very own chubby, characterful animal to take home. Don’t worry if you are a beginner, as this class is designed for all skill levels. We will guide you through the process and help you nurture your creativity in an encouraging environment.

During the workshop, our instructor will teach you how to shape a round, tubby base using hand-building techniques, then show you how to turn it into your chosen animal. You can choose from four adorable options: a bison, a bear, a cow or an orca. Get ready to get your hands dirty and enjoy the therapeutic nature of working with clay.

What makes this class extra special: you have a full THREE HOURS with us! You’ll spend 2 hours hand-building your animal, adding its horns, ears, snout, fins and all the little details that give it personality. Then you’ll spend 1 hour painting it with our underglazes, so you can bring your tubby friend to life with colour, patches and markings. Your creation will be uniquely yours!

By the end of the class, you will have crafted and painted your very own tubby animal, one that reflects your personal creativity. Your piece will then be clear glazed and fired for you, and your finished item will be ready approx 4 weeks later.

Join us in the main studio for a love-themed quiz, where you can test your knowledge of romance, music and film while painting your very own keepsakes. It’s a relaxed, sociable alternative to the usual dinner out, whether you’re celebrating Valentine’s or Galentine’s.

• Guaranteed Seat: A cosy spot at the table in our main studio.

• Love-Themed Quiz: A fun quiz hosted by our studio team, with rounds on romance, music and film, and plenty of laughs along the way.

• Studio Access: Our usual studio fee is included in your ticket, so you’ll get full use of our underglaze paints, brushes, and expert guidance from our studio team.

Your £10 ticket secures your entry, the quiz, alcohol-free drinks and sweet treats, and covers our usual studio fee, so there’s nothing extra to pay for that. Pottery pieces are not included in the ticket price. When you arrive, you’ll choose from our wide selection of pre-made pottery pieces (ranging from mugs to plates and bowls) and pay for your chosen item on the night. Your pieces will then be glazed and fired in our kiln, ready for collection at a later date.
