By completion of the booking process and payment, you agree and accept our T’s & C’s which forms your contract with Fire Nest.

We try our best to price our workshops as fairly as possible and offer good value for money. We therefore have to have a clear cancellation policy to ensure that we cover our costs and the ongoing viability of the workshop.

We urge you to carefully check your diary to ensure that you are available to attend any workshops you are booking with us.

If circumstances change, or something pops up and you are unable to attend, unfortunately all our workshops and classes are non-refundable. Please note that there are no make-ups for missed sessions if the workshop is over more than one session.

Non-attendance:

In the event of non-attendance or arriving late to classes it is not possible to provide alternative studio time or for a class to be rescheduled. Your class is at a set time on a set day to help cover the cost of tuition and for you to benefit from the planned structure of the lessons. The classes are full so it is not possible to swap the class or use the studio outside of the allotted class times to catch up.

Refunds:

Cancellations must be made in writing by email to hello@firenestcandles.com.

For courses and workshops we can only provide a refund for cancellations made more than 7 days before the start date of the course or Workshop. For cancellations made less than 7 days before the course or workshop there will be no refund or transfers.

If we cancel your course or workshop you will be offered a full refund or to reschedule onto another session if you’d prefer.

Once you have committed to a course or workshop, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the course and planned sessions. If the participant fails to attend all or any part of the course the full course fees are payable and we do not offer full or partial course date transfers.

Transfers:

Any requests for transfer to an alternative course or workshop must be made in writing by email, and done at least 5 days before the course or workshop start date. However, transfers are subject to availability and we have no obligation to ensure suitable alternatives are available.

A booking can only be transferred on one occasion. Requests for subsequent transfers will be treated as cancellations.

Course Content:

We reserve the right to change the timing, date or instructor of the course in order to provide a good quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.

Fire Nest reserves the right to cancel a course or Workshop if insufficient bookings have been received and will try to give as much notice as possible. Individuals booked onto a cancelled course or Workshop will be given the option of a full refund or of rescheduling to a future date if available. Fire Nest will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellation.

Technical issues and breakages:

Experienced and trained staff only will handle and fire your ceramic work. However, by the nature of ceramics there is always an element of risk of technical failure or breakages for which we cannot be held responsible.

Collection of works:

Please allow an average of 4 weeks for final pieces to be fired at the end of your course or Workshop. You will be notified by email when they are ready for collection. We recommend you collect your finished work as soon as possible after notification to help keep our storage area clear and to avoid any damage. Please note: We do not allow drop-ins for collection as we cannot guarantee we will be in the Studio or available, you will need to have arranged prior to collection a time and date to collect from us.

If your finished ceramic work is not collected within 4 weeks of the pick up email being sent, the studio will have to dispose of it due to space issues.

Data Protection GDPR

Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use the information to process your booking, provide the course and to inform you about similar courses which we provide unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. Any personal information will be held completely privately and is solely for the use of Fire Nest Studio Ltd in order to help facilitate your experience at our Studio. We respect your right to privacy and ask your permission to take photographs for social media and marketing purposes.

Health & Safety

It is important that everyone respects all Health & Safety regulations, staff / members and other studio users. Repeated failure to do so will result in immediate termination of the course or Workshop without refund. You agree to the following:

• Fire Nest Studio Ltd cannot be held responsible for any injuries caused through the misuse of the studio or equipment

• Fire Nest are not responsible for any damage caused to work and are not responsible for any personal belongings or money going missing or getting stolen.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be settled by the English court.
