In this advanced 4-week hand-building pottery course, this is an extension to our Beginners 4-week Hand Building Course, if you wish to still continue to learn and create your own Pottery. If you have tried Pottery previously, then this is the Course for you, it is a continuation of your skills and creating more complex and larger pieces.

The difference between this and our Beginners Course is that you will receive more clay to create larger items, you will get more time to glaze, and help with more complex pieces.

You will learn how to create beautiful and functional ceramic pieces that you can proudly take home. Throughout the workshop, you will be guided step-by-step on how to mould and shape clay into various forms, such as bowls, cups, and vases.

The class will be conducted in small groups, allowing for personalised attention, and all the materials and tools needed will be provided. You'll learn different hand-building techniques, such as pinch pot, coil, and slab construction, and experiment with surface decoration and glazing.

By the end of the 4 weeks, you will witness a transformative journey as you proudly showcase your handcrafted pottery collection.

What you'll get

4-week course taking place every week, for 2 hours per session. We will cover all the basics of pottery and glazing. At the end of the course, you will take home all your finished pieces made during the course. This class series runs over 4 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
