Important: The £2 fee is per person and is payable to secure your booking. Upon arrival, you will be able to choose your pottery items which are priced individually however the £2 fee per person will be deducted from the item you pick.
Welcome to our brand new Pottery Painting Studio, where you can explore your creativity and discover the joy of turning a plain ceramic piece into a work of art to cherish forever. We have a selection of pottery available to paint, from mugs to planters, plates to trinket boxes with prices starting from as little as £10.

What’s included in your Pottery Painting session: Sessions run for 1 hour, and a table will be allocated to fit your group size. Upon arrival, we will show you the variety of pottery available for you to paint which are priced per item, which is payable at the time of choosing.
After the session, your pieces will be kept with us as they need to go into the Kiln for a firing. These will be ready in approx 2-3 weeks time, and you will be notified by email when your items are ready for collection from us.
In the rare event that an item didn’t survive in the Kiln, we will do our best to rectify or replace the item for you.
Opening hours (these are trial opening hours to see the demand, but if you would like to book outside of these hours, please do let us know and we can definitely accommodate for you)
FAQ:
Do I have to book or can I just turn up? We only have limited space in our Pottery Painting Studio, therefore we do recommend booking beforehand to avoid disappointment if we cannot fit you in. You are welcome to contact us via social media or on email (hello@firenestcandles.com) to check if we have availability before making the journey.
Can you help with personalisation? Eg. writing names. Yes of course we can, we can write names or help with any drawings you may require.
Can you do baby or toddler hand-prints onto pottery? Yes we can help with this! We will dip your child’s hand into glaze and we can then imprint this onto plates, mugs etc. They make the cutest gifts or a memory frozen in time for you to keep forever!
Can I book outside of your opening hours? Yes absolutely, these are our trial opening hours for now to see how the demand is and what hours are most popular but please do contact us on hello@firenestcandles.com directly if you would like to request a specific time/ date and we can accommodate this.
When will my pottery items be ready to collect? We aim to have fired your pieces in the Kiln and have them ready for collection from us within 2 weeks, you will be notified by email when they are ready for you to collect, so please do not just turn up without receiving this first.
In addition to our usual Pottery Painting Session, we do also offer our Keepsakes Hand-Print or Foot-Print Pottery Painting, where you can create your own personalised handprint or footprint keepsakes! This is the perfect activity to do with your baby or child to capture a moment in time to keep forever.
What’s included:
Choose from our range of Pottery items ranging from mugs, plates, vases, plaques, coasters etc (prices do vary) and imprint a simple baby footprint, handprint and personalise this to you. You can either turn hand and footprints into such as animals, flowers, fish, hearts, dinosaurs cles and for more seasonal ideas, you can create fingerprints into pumpkins, ghosts, or around christmas, reindeers robins, christmas trees more. You can also add messages, or include the child’s name and age etc. We do also have large plates which are suitable for family handprints plates such as family trees.
You can customise to however you like, but we do also have an ideas board so you won’t be stuck for inspiration! There is help on hand from us at all times to help with drawings, writing etc.
We have a range of coloured glazes which you can use to create your masterpiece on your selected pottery piece, all of our paints are non-toxic and completely safe.
All prices include firing of your items, these will be ready to collect around 2-3 weeks from your session and you will be contacted by via email once they are ready.
